Last month, I quit my job as a Software Developer at Global Analytics. I loved the three years that I worked there. I learnt a lot. Owing to the fact that it was a relatively small company, I got the chance to be a ‘big fish in a small pond’. I had good opportunities to learn and improve myself. Somewhere down the line, I realized that slope of my learning curve had started decreasing. It wasn’t as high as I wanted it to be. It was sometime during that realization that I decided to pursue graduate studies as a mean of regaining the momentum in my learning.
Starting today, I would be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science at theUniversity at Buffalo, The State University of New York. I have relocated to Buffalo, New York and my first semester is underway. I feel doing a Master’s degree provides me with the opportunity to stretch my limits and satisfy my intellectual curiosity. It also is a means for me to learn advanced skills and broaden my opportunities.
I am starting over from scratch. It is going to be fun! 🙂
